With endurance and optimism: The founding team

For the family fathers Matthias Kuss and Jürgen Wier, the compatibility of private life and job is an important topic. When one of his children fell ill, Matthias realized that a secure and fair marketplace for digital video consulting was missing. Also, with other problems in the household, such as a dripping tap, it was difficult to find fast, individual and digital help. Therefore, they founded the Tyme Group and have since then been driven by the desire to develop a marketplace that is fully automated and focuses on the essential: people and advice.

Matthias was able to draw on his many years of experience in business development, while Jürgen brought his IT expertise and knowledge of software development to the table. And the concept is convincing: The founders were rewarded for their perseverance by winning the ADAC pitch at #CEBIT18.

And the Corona Pandemic is also demonstrating: Digital video consulting is the future! At the beginning of 2020, the traffic on the website increased a hundredfold.

Dr. Matthias Kuss

CEO of Tyme Group

Matthias Kuss is CEO of Tyme Group, the marketplace provider for digital video consulting. He founded the company in 2016 together with Jürgen Wier with the goal of establishing a new standard for online services. The physicist already worked in the areas of business development and innovation management for The Boston Consulting Group and experienced the corporate world at ZEISS and Allianz first handedly. Today he is putting his acquired knowledge to the test for the future-oriented side of the Tyme Group.

One focus of his work is to guarantee professional advice to consumers and to provide a video platform with fair payment to experts. His vision of making digital video consulting secure and flexible is also made possible by the simple and individual white-label solution, where data sovereignty remains in the hands of the respective experts.

Jürgen Wier

CTO of the Tyme Group

Jürgen Wier is CTO of Tyme Group. Together with Matthias Kuss, he spearheads the marketplace provider. As an expert in IT consulting, he develops the foundation of the secure, independently certified video platform. He learned project management from scratch and gained profound experience in the development, planning and implementation of large IT projects for IBM Global Service and Telefónica O2 Germany, among others. In 2008 he completed a further training course to become a Certified ScrumMaster and then fulfilled his dream by founding his first company for the conception of individual apps and business solutions, wiwicon GmbH.

With multiple years of experience and a strong passion for digital projects, he is now establishing a new standard in video consulting with the Tyme Group. The main focus of his work is to support companies with the white-label solution to optimize their services by guaranteeing reliable stability and performance in the technical area.
