AdhereAI: Better treatment adherence starts with better patient support

Treatment adherence remains one of the greatest challenges in the care of people with chronic conditions. In the AdhereAI project, Observia and XPERTyme combine artificial intelligence, behavioural science and personal support.

The aim is to provide targeted assistance throughout the treatment process and generate measurable insights for patient support programmes.

The project is supported by the Eurostars programme, France 2030 and the German Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space.

Behind the scenes of our website relaunch

The greatest challenge of our relaunch was not the design. It was finding a clear way to show the full range of our work.

Our technology powers video consultations, advisory platforms, webinars and digital owners’ meetings. We also operate our own platforms, including AMATERNA and wellbinar. Together with ELSA GmbH, we are bringing all these areas together on one website.

AI in healthcare: Trust comes first

A Salesforce survey of more than 3,200 patients across eight countries found that 61 per cent have no reservations about agentic AI in healthcare.

Among respondents with chronic conditions, 65 per cent expect a digital assistant available around the clock to help them manage their health. Patients are three times more likely to trust AI embedded in a clinical system than a public chatbot. At the same time, 89 per cent want a clear route to a human professional at all times.

AI gives healthcare professionals back more than three working weeks a year

The Philips Future Health Index 2026 surveyed more than 2,000 healthcare professionals and 20,000 patients across ten countries.

The important question is not only how much time AI can save. It is also how that time can be used to improve patient care.
